HAVOC OP HERRICK – Military-Inspired Commemorative Tool Watch
The HAVOC OP HERRICK is more than a military-inspired tool watch. It has been designed as a lasting tribute to the British servicemen and women who served in Afghanistan during Operation HERRICK.
Built around a rugged 42mm black PVD-coated titanium case, the OP HERRICK combines lightweight strength, reliability and military heritage with a unique physical connection to operations in Afghanistan.
At the heart of the design is a brass movement holder manufactured using brass from a 105mm artillery shell fired at Roshan Tower, Musa Qala, Afghanistan. The round was fired in support of British troops operating in the area, giving every OP HERRICK watch a tangible connection to the history and service that inspired it.
The lightweight titanium case features a fixed-lug design, a feature traditionally associated with military watches because of its strength and strap security. Its black PVD coating gives the watch a purposeful, understated appearance while complementing the Afghanistan-inspired dial.
Protecting the dial is sapphire crystal glass, providing excellent scratch resistance and long-term clarity. With 200 metres of water resistance, the OP HERRICK has been designed as a genuine everyday tool watch rather than simply a commemorative piece.
Powering the watch is the proven Japanese NH35 automatic movement, widely recognised for its durability and reliability. Powered by the movement of the wearer, it requires no battery and provides a dependable mechanical platform suited to the character of the watch.
The OP HERRICK is fitted with a single-pass black rubber NATO-style strap, providing additional security through the fixed lugs while remaining comfortable and practical for everyday use.
Each watch can also be individually laser engraved on the caseback with the owner’s ZAP number, creating a personal connection between the watch and the individual who served.
The result is a watch designed not simply to reference military service, but to preserve a small piece of Operation HERRICK history.
